I’m a design leader focused on building the systems that make great design possible — the processes, tools, and structures that help people do their best work at scale.
At Medidata, I lead Design Operations and the 1X Design System, enabling more than sixty designers across five product areas to design and build with confidence. My work sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and operations — connecting the right people, defining shared standards, and creating the governance models that keep the system healthy and evolving.
I believe a design system’s strength isn’t just in its components or documentation, but in how it helps teams think, communicate, and collaborate. When it works well, it becomes the connective tissue of an organization — the invisible framework that lets creativity move fast without chaos.
Before Medidata, I helped shape and scale design at Jeli (acquired by PagerDuty), SolarWinds, and Librato (acquired by SolarWinds), leading teams through growth, acquisition, and transformation. Across each, I’ve stayed grounded in the same idea: design is a system — and systems thrive on clarity, trust, and purpose.
Outside of work, I’m happiest exploring the Peak District, bouldering, or trying to keep up with my son’s endless curiosity.
